May 2024 RESTORATIVE YOGA TEACHER TRAINING LEVEL II​

A 3 day training with Anna Ashby and Chris Swain which expanded on the poses learnt in level I and included further discussion on stress, anatomy and the polyvagal theory.

Feb-Apr 2022 MINDFULNESS MEDITATION TEACHER TRAINING  LEVEL I & 11 

An exploration into the Tibetan Buddhist tradition of mindfulness meditation taught by Cyndi Lee.  This included several dharma talks, detailed instruction, practice, and teaching.

March 2018  ANATOMY AND PHYSIOLOGY APPLIED TO YOGA

A 2 day immersion exploring in detail the anatomy and physiology of our body applied to practising and teaching yoga. All the areas covered related directly back to the āsana practice. The sessions were interactive and experiential with lots of group work and a strong focus on using anatomy to make asana practices as inclusive as possible.

March 2017  RESTORATIVE YOGA TEACHER TRAINING

A unique teacher training focusing on the practice, art and teaching of restorative yoga with Anna Ashby and Chris Swain.  Over 33 hours of training in a retreat-like atmosphere were dedicated to the study and learning of restorative āsana, the anatomy and physiology of restorative yoga, as well as, how to sequence and teach a restorative yoga class with particular emphasis given to assisting and adjusting the postures to suit individual needs.

July 2016  ALEXANDRIA CROW ‘Your Unique Physiology And How It Relates To Āsana’

Nov 2013–Oct 2015  TEACHER TRAINING COURSE AT TRIYOGA

A 390-hour programme taught by Anna Ashby and Joey Miles which covered āsana, prāṇāyāma and over 30 hours of obligatory class observation and assisting.  Meditation and philosophy taught by the renowned scholar Carlos Pomeda providing one of the most comprehensive groundings in yoga philosophy of any teacher training diploma in the UK.  Anatomy and physiology taught by osteopath and yoga teacher Chris Swain in addition to a monthly mentoring and supervision programme providing feedback, advice and support for new teachers.
